Fall is Here
Fall is here. Well, I guess I should back up. It was officially here last week. However, now that October is here, it feels more official. Believe it or not, some of my neighbors had already started decorating. One neighbor in particular usually likes decorating with orange lights once the fall starts. There are others that take their decorations indoors. To be honest, I have never tried fall decorating before. Perhaps before the season is over, there just might be a wreath at the door. For me, the thing about fall decorating, is that the colors would definitely clash with the neutral tones that I already have going on. However, we are all different.

One thing about this time of the year, is that there are so many activities for one to choose from. One of the advantages of living in the Midwest is that the cooler weather is very inviting for all kinds of activities such as apple picking, hiking, dog walking, biking, and outside fall festivals.

I remember when my kids were younger, I went to an apple orchard one year with my daughter. We had a wonderful time! I ended up buying two dozens of apple cider dozens, and had to force myself to stop eating them when we got home.

Most of the small groups at different churches have begun already. Some of the churches are planning for their upcoming fall festivals, where the children will be dressing up like biblical characters.
As for me, I just like the cooler weather, wearing hoodies and lightweight jackets, and wrapping around with a throw or blanket, book, and a movie going at the same time.
Have a blessed week!
