Coffee and Quiche
On Friday, I met up with a sister-in-Christ for lunch, fellowship, and to discuss the writing process. This all took place at a coffee shop near my house. It was only my second time there. What I like about this place is that the atmosphere presents you with a little bit of a welcome home/boutique/coffee shop feeling.
Lined up along the walls, were a couple rows of wool mittens for sale. Across from there, you are graced with coffee from different parts of the world, Uganda being one of them. It didn't take long for me to notice the coffee since 1) I love packaging that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and 2) I sell coffee in my own store.
Last, but not least, there are good-sized tables with just the right amount of space being every writer's dream. My lunchtime blessing was a spinach-filled quiche and Passion Tea.
So, what did you get a chance to do that was simple, functional, and grace-filled this weekend?
Drop a line and let me know.
